Astronomical Society of the Pacific provides PC (Win3.1+Win32s,
Win95, WinNT) and MAC (MacOS 7.0 and above, 68030 and above with math-coprocessor,
and PowerMac) versions of the software with the Real
Sky product.
A World Coordinate System toolkit has been developed by Doug Mink at
CfA and is available
for program developers. The WCSTools
can be used to extract positions from DSS data and set up world coordinate
systems for FITS and IRAF
images
The latest version of the freely available X-windows astronomy program
xephem
now supports DSS access.
