Purpose:
Determine plates on which a coordinate is located.
Procedure:
Reads Plate Database (1st generation ONLY) and checks
separation of plate centre from each coordinate. For those with separations
that are possible candidates, it computes the predicted x,y using the plate
solutions to see which plates they lie within.
Calling Sequence:
- GETPLATE
- [/INPUT=filename] Gets data from GSF format file.
- [/OUTPUT=filename] Writes results to a file.
- [/SELECT=option] Chooses which plates to check
- valid options are :
- ALL - All plates in DB
- CURRENT - Plates used in current GSC {default}
- POSS - Plates used in POSS-I
- N - Quick V survey
- S - SERC J survey
- XE - POSS-I E plates
- XO - POSS-I O plates
- XV - SERC short V
- XN - Quick-V special plates
- XB - Black Birch plates
- XG - GPO plates
- XX - special plates
- [/BEST] List best plate only
- [/SPSS] Input file is in SPSS format
- [/DEBUG]
