Requirements for running ShowSky
ShowSky requires a JRE1.2 or greater. JSDK1.3 is probably best - this is available free from sun at the following link:
The imaging part of ShowSky requires Java Advanced Imaging to be installed. This is a graphics API based on Open GL. On windows this usually only requires installing JAI but on UNIX the OPENGL libraries also need to be installed. Further information about JAI is available on suns website at:

Additionally the nomfits.jar and htmIndex.jar must be in your class path as specified in the download page.
