This is a webform which allows a user to retrieve GSC2 data

It is only necessary to enter ONE of the following input conditions

• HST ID - the 10 digit ID (begins with N or S)
• GSC1 ID - the original GSC1 ID of an object if available
• Free form RA,DEC - text boxes to enter RA & DEC in either decimal degrees or sexagesimal
• Sexagesimal RA,DEC - text boxes to specify RA & DEC in sexagesimal format (deprecated)

If a position is entered one need to specify the size/type of the search area

When returning data to the user it is possible to select a number of different formats

• HTML - webpage format for browser viewing
• CSV - comma separated variables for analysis
• TSV - tab separated variables for analysis
• JSON - JavaScript Object Notation for data interchange
• VOTABLE - Virtual Observatory standard for data interchange
• TEXT - plain text format to support service calls (deprecated)

There are also optional parameters to specify bright/faint magnitude limits and the maximum number of objects to return (sorted by mag)

It is also possible to programatically call this webservice using the endpoint
